March 7, 2008, Newsletter Issue #108: Replacing Foam Cushions

Tip of the Week

Foam cushions used on a boat should be replaced, especially if they are weathered and old in appearance.

To replace foam cushions, contact the previous manufacturer of your old foam cushions. Looking at the old receipts where you purchased the cushions, or looking at the tag for the manufacturer's name, can determine this information.
Depending on how old the boat is, and how long you have had the cushions, it might not be possible to replace the foam cushions with newer versions of the old cushions. The manufacturer should be able to see you new ones, which are as close in design as possible, or be creative and choose a totally new look.
