August 3, 2007, Newsletter Issue #77: Building With Foam

Tip of the Week

Foam has entered the construction industry in the form of foam blocks. Blocks of foam can be cut in whatever length and used to construct the walls of numerous buildings. The smaller sized foam blocks are used in areas where smaller blocks are needed.

Other than foam blocks, the construction and manufacturing industry also uses foam sheets. These foam sheets are used in areas where they insulate areas, or where it is necessary to surround a wall or structure with a sheet of foam. Since these building items are made of foam, they can be sawed or sculpted, and can help achieve a solid structure for everything you build.
