March 9, 2007, Newsletter Issue #57: Read The Label!

Tip of the Week

When buying new foam insulation, it is imperative that the foam-packaging label be checked to make sure the foam is right for the job. This includes ensuring there is enough foam available in the packaging to do the installation, checking the R-value is right for the place to be insulated, and also double-checking that the correct insulation material is purchased. These points cannot be stressed enough. A well insulated home will depend on all these factors.
