Besides the portability and lower costs, a foam mattress topper also gives someone the ability to discover if sleeping on foam is right for them.

Another advantage of a foam mattress topper is its density. Foam mattress toppers are measured with same density as a foam mattress. However, a disadvantage of a foam mattress topper is its durability. Thus it is possible for a foam mattress to last longer than a foam mattress topper.
