After a long winter, it's time to air out the boat mattress for your time at sea. To air out the boat mattresses, first remove any excess dust from the mattresses, by using a handheld vacuum. After vacuuming, use a laundry spray or linen spray to remove any offensive odors, such as a musty smell. Afterwards, place the boat mattresses outside on a clothesline to air out for 24 hours. The next day, the boat mattresses will smell clean and fresh, and ready for the summer ahead.
